I'm Getting Married

I know how exciting it is to start ticking things off your list but there is such thing as too early.

Ok so working backwards from your big day, your guests need to rsvp 1 month before - which means they should receive them by no later than 2 months before. 

I like to meet with my happy couples between 4-6 months before the big day to look at my extensive range of paper and pockets, ribbon and embellishment samples.

That gives us plenty of time to choose and order. Then we work on making sure we cover your budget the smartest way.

This depends on your taste, theme and most importantly, budget.

There's lots to consider when you choose a wedding invitation. Firstly, how many guests you plan on inviting and secondly, the type of wedding - large, small, formal, traditional etc as this will reflect the invitation you want.

There's High-End, Mid-Range and Simple.

High End

Unique invitations are often high-end. Beautiful 3-D invitations with lots of embellishments or substantial weight - such as engraved wooden invites or acrylic invitations are stunning, but are not for a couple who have a max budget of $500 for 100 guests.

It won’t be cheap and they’ll also be expensive to post out because of the weight, so you’d need to hand deliver and also think of a way to present them such as in a box. It would probably cost around $10-15 per invitation. 

A high-end invitation like those above are for a couple with either a flexible budget, who are getting eloped, or have a small amount of guests… 

Mid-Range

Mid-Range invitations work with your budget. During our initial consultation, we'll look at different cards and papers, pockets, envelopes, ribbons and embellishments and work out a theme to give you an amazing invitation suite to fit your budget.

Simple

A simple invitation is just that. A simple invitation can be single sheet of paper or card in an envelope or pocket;

or, it can be an electronic invitation for sending to your guests via text or email. Not as romantic as a printed invitation, but they were very practical during the pandemic.
